Wesley Clover Parks

Wesley Clover Parks is one of the major not-for-profit initiatives undertaken by the Wesley Clover Foundation. The Ottawa Municipal Campground was established in 1967, and equestrian activities were first introduced to the former Nepean National Equestrian Park in 1974. Located within the Greenbelt which is owned by the National Capital Commission (NCC), both were fixtures in the National Capital Region for decades.

In 2012, after years of being under city management, the City of Ottawa and the Municipal Campground Authority came to the decision that it was time for someone else to breathe new life into these urban gems, which is when a partnership between Wesley Clover Foundation and NCC was established.
We are an innovative, four-season outdoor recreation and learning hub dedicated to promoting health and education. Wesley Clover Parks connects you with nature and the great outdoors in the National Capital Greenbelt that encircles the City of Ottawa.
