Celebrating its 45th anniversary this summer, the Ottawa Jazz Festival is thrilled to announce the first wave of artists set to take centre stage during its 2025 edition. Running from June 20 - June 29 in Confederation Park and other satellite locations in the heart of downtown Ottawa, jazz enthusiasts and music lovers alike can look forward to a lineup featuring internationally acclaimed performers, emerging talent, and genre-defying innovators.

Main Stage headliners at Confederation Park
Multiple GRAMMY award winning, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis performs on June 24. Experience the unparalleled artistry of one of the world's most celebrated jazz orchestras, led by the legendary Wynton Marsalis. Expect a night of dazzling performances that pay homage to the rich history of jazz while pushing its boundaries.

Azrieli Studio at the National Arts Centre
Often referred to as “The African Sting,” virtuoso GRAMMY-winning bassist and vocalist Richard Bona on June 20, seamlessly weaves Afrobeat, jazz, and pop influences into a sound uniquely his own.
Marc Ribot’s Ceramic Dog, on June 22, known for their electrifying performances, blurs the lines between jazz, punk, and experimental rock, delivering a visceral and unforgettable live experience.
Declared “the coolest rock star in the world right now,” by UNCUT magazine, the GRAMMY-winning Arooj Aftab performs on June 25, Her ethereal blend of jazz, classical, and South Asian traditions has enchanted audiences worldwide and promises to deliver a set both intimate and transcendent. She recently made her first US Television debut on Steven Colbert’s show.
Renowned for their high-octane performances and genre-bending sound, the trailblazing quintet Kneebody on June 24, will bring their signature mix of jazz, rock, and electronic music to the stage.
