Torchlight Shakespeare (July 2 - August 17)
Wherefore art thou Festivalgoers? Come see the classic Shakespeare tale of star crossed lovers with A Company of Fools presenting Romeo and Juliet. This touring play has over 35 shows throughout July and August and the venue is a park near you. Believing that everyone should have access to the theatre, A Company of Fools is continuing their “pay what you can” performances of Shakespeare’s classics. Music and Beyond (July 4 - 17)
Music and Beyond is a classical music and art festival that highlights the connections between classical music and other art forms. There will be a plethora of artists performing from solo performances to quartets to dances, opera and more. Many prominent names like Alexandre De Costa and Miloš will be performing as well. On top of all this, there will be many other events such as The Mozart Gala, Viennese Ball, a FREE family music expo and more! Bluesfest (July 4 - 14)
The highly-anticipated Bluesfest is beginning this week. This giant ten-day music festival is back with a stellar lineup including The Backstreet Boys, Snoop Dogg, The Killers and many more. Come down to Lebreton Flats for not only a variety of concerts but plenty of other onsite activities too like carnival games and rides like a ferris wheel, 50/50 raffle, The Fort and multiple vendors! Almonte Celtfest (July 5-7)
Need even more music? Almonte Celtfest is coming up this weekend! The two day festival has a variety of Celtic entertainment including music, culture and food for all. This festival will see greats like The Mudmen and Twin Flames, plus many other entertainers. The venue is outdoors at the natural amphitheatre of Gemmill park. Come explore Celtic tradition through music and family fun!
